The rise in house hunters welcomed

House-hunter numbers have reached their highest average levelsfor four years, the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA)said.

The association's September housing market report showed thenumber of people registering to look for homes per branch rose from304 in August to 308 in September, the highest level since September2007, when a figure of 326 was recorded.
